New York City Restaurants (Indian Food): Ghandi Cafe

The Chicken Malai at Ghandi Cafe on Bleecker Street is sweet, rich and creamy—especially delish when the honey flavor of the curry is balanced out with brown rice and roti (wheat naan bread). The manager is over-the-top warm, friendly and hospitable—an absolute delight.

But the décor?

The décor leaves a tad to be desired, to put it gently—that is, except when it comes to the strips of paper “table cloths.”

While I don’t think they intended to be trendsetters, I think they might be onto something:
